Recruiting Manager
SUMMARY This individual will have responsibility for managing the
recruiting and selection process for mid to senior hires for client
groups within the company. He/she will work with the Executive
Director of Talent Acquisition to develop and implement on-going
internal staffing processes to support recruiting efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to source candidates at all levels and proactively fill
positions utilizing a variety of methods including contingency
firms, retained search, Internet advertising and sourcing, and
employee referrals.
- Provide guidance, advice and counsel on all recruiting related
matters to Hiring Managers.Work closely with HR Generalists for
areas of staffing responsibility.
- Manage college recruiting activities for client groups.
- Work with the Executive Director of Talent Acquisition on
search firm and agency management, development and implementation
of non fee-based recruiting.
- Manage contracts with contingency firms and sourcing
websites.
- Support stated diversity goals and initiatives and help develop
a strategy to increase diversity hires.
- Participate in special corporate project work as
required.Recruiting project work to include development of staffing
best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
- College degree required.Advanced degree a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in managing recruitment,
sourcing, and selection in a fast-paced global business
environment.
- Candidate must have experience in internet sourcing methods
with demonstrated success in cost effectiveness strategies.
- Behavioral interviewing experience or knowledge a plus.
- Experience dealing with senior management required with
demonstrated ability to think and operate in a consultative manner
to drive results is a must.
- Candidate must be a self-starter and results-oriented.
- Must possess a high level of integrity, personal effectiveness,
and influence skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to operate within a matrixed organization in a highly
effective manner.
