Job DetailsJob #714 Location: , NY Job Title: Personal Assistant Employment: Permanent Salary: 55,000 Job Category: Administrative Description: We are looking for a bright, energetic, responsible person to throw themselves into the world of fashion. This person will have great communication and organization skills as well as an enthusiasm for learning quickly and achieving perfection. Based in New York, but with travel to Europe, and the West Coast of the US Hours: 8.30am-5.30pm with flexibility Monday - Friday and one Saturday every other week. The role may include international travel at short notice. This role requires a high level of team work with another personal assistant, housekeeper, and the team in London. Responsibilities include a combination of managing the New York residence, and personal assistant. The Day to day running of the New York residence to ensure all utilities, including satellite, telephones and are monitored and paid on time To run office properly - computer, printer and mobile network is operating 24/7. The maintenance of the apartment - the apartment needs to be maintained to a very high standard (liaising with all third parties) - all contacts to be listed and soft furnishing orders to be monitored and recorded. Communication with London team on a daily basis - checking in the morning and before London sign off Day to day management of the team in NYC - managing the housekeeper's role and that the apartment is cleaned to the expected standard Electronic Diary management in NYC and for the apartment Management of Petty Cash Management of invoices and noting and forwarding invoices to London Accounting for Expenses on a fortnightly basis Replying to invitations and organize diary for fashion weeks Personal Assistant: Booking /reserving travel plans to and from the states Booking/reserving personal appointments Monitoring personal orders and Couture fittings Ensuring all personal items that are available for - from beauty to accessories Packing and unpacking suitcases to and from travel General Duties to include making refreshments etc Management of Couture Wardrobe, ensuring items are catalogued correctly and maintained. Meeting and Greeting guests, and running social occasions. Successful candidate will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement. Skills required: PC Outlook, MAC, blackberry, and IPOD literate.
