Description:

Our client is a luxury retail brand – they are looking for a Director of E-Commerce.

The Ecommerce Director will be responsible for strategic direction in launching and growing the ecommerce business for a premium luxury brand. Individual must have proven experience growing an ecommerce business to $100 million on a global platform.

Responsibilities:

· Develop eCommerce strategy with luxury brand managers and agency’s experts for aggressive growth

· Support ecommerce operations

· Manage relationships with key stakeholders

· Meet and exceed sales revenue targets for eCommerce

· Create strategies and make recommendations for launching new product lines

· Deliver weekly status and forecast reports along with insight and direction for the ecommerce business

· Monitor the financial performance and forecasts of the eCommerce business

· Analyze sales ad site performance regularly and make recommendations to improve performance

· Ongoing analysis of KPIs to assess progress

· Achieve total understanding of brand positioning and objectives to develop successful online programs

· Remain in touch with all new technologies and trends

Experience Required:

· This person should have at least 7 years experience in ecommerce with hands on experience in ecommerce and digital marketing

· Current with new technologies

· BA/BS degree required

· Must understand luxury brand values

· Complete knowledge of ecommerce best practices and marketing methodologies

· Outstanding organization, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to present to the client’s senior level stakeholders
