Our client is aluxury fashion retail brand looking for a Purchasing Analyst to add to their team.

Job SummaryPrimary responsibility is to be the go-to person for spend data analysis and purchasing variation transactions. Main responsibility is to support team with information that will identify trends within the different areas. Candidate will assist with report creation and suggest improved ways to record transactions. It is expected that person will be able to highlight areas of opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

·Identify areas of opportunity by: supplier, commodity, terms, etc.

· Assist with the Invoicing process

· Update/clean transactions and errors in QAD

· Suggest standard cost adjustments

· Present cash flow, inventory reduction alternatives

· Highlight trends by commodity

· Recommend ways to reduce amount of transactions

· Measure certified component suppliers and FG vendors and items using them

· Evaluate other business data as required

· Transition suppliers to 3 way match process (where possible)

· Initial Purchase of New Item Audit - to ensure that purchases of new items agree with the pricing that was set forth in the PCO approval process. Ensure that vendors get off on the right foot with regards to pricing of brand new items.

Job Qualifications

· Sourcing and Financial experience required

· Strong Written, Analytical and Verbal Skills.

· Competent in Outlook, Word and Excel.

· Previous QAD experience a must

· Business Objects or similar knowledge a plus
