Description:

Our client is a luxury retail brand looking for an Art Director to add to their team.

Job Responsibilities

· Constantly measures messaging and execution against brand positioning and signing standards

· Assist in establishing creative standards/style guides and formats to ensure adherence to those standards in all produced work

· Creates and develops creative signing elements and reviews and designs approved concepts through creation of final art

· Develops and implements assigned projects within given calendar and timeframe; accountable to meet deadlines

· Design mailers, brochures, invitations, training material, and signage

· Leads, inspires and develops the design team, keeps them focused on objectives for projects

· Guides the execution of creative consistent with agreed upon strategies

· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are crucial to prioritizing and meeting deadlines

· Proficiency in software programs like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat. A detailed understanding of production and printing will ensure success in this position

· Seeks ways to improve processes/efficiencies and quality of output within functional areaJob Qualifications

· BA/BS

· Four plus years experience, preferably in retail

· Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat

· Knowledge of advertising, creative and production processes

· Ability to handle large workloads and meet tight deadlines

· Strong strategic thinking ability

· Strong knowledge and understanding of targeted advertising and marketing

· Demonstrated ability to develop and implement programs that adhere to corporate strategies, business strategies and signing standards

· In-depth knowledge of retail signing, graphic design, brand management, techniques and processes

· Proven excellent presentation skills

· Expert creative sense with proven artistic abilities

· Photo shoot experience

· Strong attention to detail with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely
